Brett DiNovi & Associates (BDA) is a California-based consultation firm that's offering Occupational Therapy positions for candidates highly skilled in pediatric development to provide in-home and clinic services in Orange County. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in consulting with individuals under the age of 3 with developmental delays.

Specific roles and responsibilities:
- Consulting and providing strategies to the developmental team regarding functional skill deficits
- Consulting with the consumer’s treating therapists outside the organization as necessary to assist with generalization of skills
- Perform evaluations and document assessment results as based on the early intervention model
- Provide one on one services as deemed necessary by the funding source or current evaluation
- Develop and implement evidence based and personalized intervention plans to meet goals and programing milestones
- Keep accurate and current documentation regarding consultation or one on one therapy sessions
- Support parents and guardians by demonstrating strategies and providing information regarding the child’s needs
- Create parent goals as necessary to implement a family-based model to better insure generalization of skills
- Provide department wide training regarding general strategies as they relate to gross motor, fine motor and adaptive skill development
As a member of the early intervention team, the occupational therapist will provide services for clients who are at risk of a developmental delay or have a known disability. The occupational therapist will support and guide programs affecting fine motor, visual perception, cognitive, adaptive and sensory processing skills. Adaptive skills include self-care and feeding skills. All occupational therapists must have a current occupational therapy license and have prior experience working with children under the age of 3 years with developmental disabilities.

Pay: $50.00 - $90.00 per hour
