Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Register new patients and update existing patient information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Handle patient billing inquiries with discretion and professionalism
Skills:
- Proficient in patient assessment and service
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
