Circles of Hope LLC is dedicated to working with families within the DMV Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Manassas, Stafford Virginia area by providing Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Anger Management, Alcohol and Other Drug Counseling/Education/Treatment to meet the needs of each identified client and their family.
Mission Statement
Circles of Hope Psychotherapy & Addiction Counseling Agency was established in September 1993. The entire staff of Circles of Hope is dedicated to professional and quality services in a timely fashion. Our services are provided by licensed and or certified clinicians that have many years of experience. Our goal is to provide a continuum of services that enables individuals and families in stress to take control of their lives and function productively in our community. Hour hours of operation are seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. This agency prides on putting our families first.
Circles of Hope LLC is a well-established community based organization which consists of a committed group of professionals and counselors dedicated to promoting the mental, emotional and social well-being of those in the Commonwealth of Northern Virginia. We provide treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
We currently have full-time and Part-time Intensive In-Home Based Counselor/Supervise Visit Counselor/ Therapeutic Mentor position available in Northern VA (Fairfax VA ,Arlington VA, Alexandria VA, Manassas and Loudoun County VA).

Job Responsibilities: This position provides individual and family counseling in our Intensive In-Home program, Supervised Visits for Foster Care and Adoption Services and/or supportive counseling and case management services. Services are provided in the home, social services and community setting.
Provides direct support, coaching, advice and education services to identified client and their families on a weekly basis for 9 to 10 hours per case. * Responsibilities of the ISP’s, monthly, quarterly reports. Assists in planning of services. * Provides parent education and support. * Models and teaches problem-solving techniques. * Provides a variety of interventions in client’s home and community as appropriate and necessary. These interventions may be behavioral, social and recreational, as needed. * Provides linkage to community-based services and supports; provides advocacy and support for family with these services. * Teaching and training in IDL/ADL skills to address Mental Health Skills Building.
Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in a human service field. Also requires a minimum of 1+ years' experience in direct clinical care for youth ages 4 - 21 who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Experience can include internships, practicums and volunteer experience. Masters degree and or Licenses in a human service field. Looking for mental health professionals with certifications (QMHP, LPC, SW, ABA DBT and FFT).

A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is an individual who is in the health professions and who is trained and experienced in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a psychiatric diagnosis.
Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, criminal justice- human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; * Knowledge of counseling skills and techniques * Knowledge of mental health services and agencies * Knowledge of mental health diagnosis * Must successfully complete CPR, First Aid and TOVA behavioral management training * Candidate must meet eligibility for employment through successful criminal and central registry check. Applicants must have a personal vehicle for client transportation and current auto insurance. Valid Driver’s License with favorable driving record required (no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years; no DUIs in the last 5 years).

Circles of Hope is looking for full-time and/or part-time Qualified Mental Health Professionals to provide Mental Health Skill Building and Intensive In-Home Services to our clients in the Northern Virginia area (Fairfax, Arlington and Loudoun County. The Qualified Mental Health Professional is responsible for conducting direct services to the clients based on their ISP and under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. The QMHP will provide services according to the service description, individual service plan and the mission of the agency. We are looking for the BEST qualified applicants who can fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and ongoing monitoring and implementation of client centered individual service plans.
- Work with clients to foster the development of new improved coping, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Case management functions of linking, arranging for services and referrals.
- Maintain coordination of care with the identified individuals and other key stakeholders (with signed authorization to release information) in planning and service delivery. These stakeholders might include but are not limited to social workers, psychiatrists, court officials and police, teachers (if applicable) and other human service professionals.
- Educate client and if applicable caregivers/family members regarding existing community services, and act as an advocate in connecting client/families to these services.
- Respond to family crisis on a 24 hours, seven day a week basis.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, and prepare required/necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend court and appointments as necessary
- Establish a good working relationship with other public and private agencies/services and interface collaboratively with them
- Will adhere to the ethical standards of his/her profession, COH Code of Ethics, and COH Code of Conduct.

Circles of Hope is looking for ideal applicants that are trained, ambitious, self-motivated and experienced that meet the requirement and have least (1-3) years of experience delivery quality services in MHSS and IIH services.
Training: Staff must be trained certified in: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, TOVA, become orientated to the company guidelines, policy and procedures, and take part in staff trainings as they occur.
Looking for individuals who have certifications in the following ABA, DBT, FFT, Crisis management, Autism, Anger management, Intellectual Disabilities and Mental illness, Suicide, Violent Behavior and Substance Abuse and Stress Management
Additional Requirements:
- Employee must be certified as being tuberculosis free (TB Test)
- Employee must clear criminal background and CPS registry checks
QMHP'S are required to use their personal vehicles for visits and for engaging in community activities. Therefore, at the time of hire QMHP'S must provide proof of Driver’s license and proof of Automobile Insurance. Should a QMHP receive a moving traffic violation at any time after their hire date the QMHP must notify the Program Director about the incident the next business day after receiving the violation. Further, QMHP'S will be taken off the schedule in the event they have any lapse in automobile insurance coverage.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are a close knit circle of professionals who take pride in providing creativity-based services to our clients. It is important that we exemplify honesty and non-traditional ways of creating change in people’s lives. This position requires the ability to assist in the development of effective individualized treatment plans and implement those plans with a high level of therapeutic skill. The position also requires skill in crisis intervention to deal with disruptive behaviors. Evenings are required. This is a contracted position and requires flexibility in scheduling. Requires your own transportation.
Responsibilities and Duties
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES:
- Develops, implements, and coordinates treatment plans for achieving specified client goals. Coordinates necessary resources and works with interdisciplinary teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Gathers information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with treatment.
- Works with clients to foster the development of new improved coping, problem solving, and communication skills, case management, etc. and any goals as directly related to the client’s individualized service plan.
- Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress with respect to treatment goals.
- Counsel or aid family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, or supporting the client.
- Must have access to personal computer to access case documentation.
- Meets with Program and Clinical supervisor and attends staff meetings and trainings as required. Good Communication, time management, organizational and writing skills.
- Demonstrates ability to implement creative and innovative interventions, prepare initial and on-going assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and monthly reports required by Circles of Hope in the required time period.
