Outside Sales
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the sales and coordination of all aspects of the sales cycle for industrial equipment distributed, manufactured and represented by Fluid Cooling Systems to include; centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, vacuum pumps, air operated double diaphragm pumps, air cooled heat exchangers, plate and frame heat exchangers, cooling towers, chillers, controls, instrumentation and filtration equipment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
- Tie together communication between manufacturers and customers.
- Demonstrate ownership for projects, including proactive decision making, risk management, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Provide technical expertise to customers.
- Manage effectively and demonstrate an understanding of the impact of decisions both upstream and downstream.
- Participation in the submittal process including customer visits whenever practical to position the company for success.
- Develop and maintain critical path project schedules.
- Develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships.
- Approve purchasing requisitions where required per established company policy.
- Ensure customer buy-off and punch list resolution.
- Work closely with finance department to maintain financial control and ensure financial success of projects.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Four year degree in mechanical or HVAC engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience : Minimum five years’ experience in industrial mechanical equipment is required. Working knowledge of custom industrial HVAC equipment and/or controls is required.
Computer Skills : Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. General proficiency in MS Power Point
Other Requirements : Valid driver’s license.
