Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and possess excellent leadership skills. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the business, including customer service, food and beverage operations, and staff management.
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient functioning of all departments
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly
- Manage and train staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to attract new customers and increase sales
- Collaborate with event planners to organize banquets, parties, or other special events
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and tracking
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Culinary background or familiarity with food handling regulations is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bartending or food service experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
