As a Teacher, you will:
- Prepare our children for preschool and beyond.
- Inspire children through our creative arts and music programs.
- Celebrate milestones such as potty training, communicating, and expressing emotions.
- Implement a curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication.
- Uphold the rules and regulations of Lightbridge Academy and governmental regulatory agencies about children's care, health, and safety.
- Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team.
- Support an engaging work environment by learning, collaborating, and building co-worker relationships.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience we are looking for:
- 2 years of prior experience in childcare
- Post-Secondary school degree
- Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Oral and written communication skills
