Your daily activities will focus primarily on communication with your team, customers, and third-party carriers. You will track freight and communicate updates to ensure that the expectations of our customers and carriers are met. By ensuring timely freight pickups and deliveries, you will help develop positive working relationships.

- Facilitate positive working relationships by maintaining excellent communication between your team, customers, and third-party carriers.

Collaborate with the asset and planning manager to ensure coverage of customer orders.
- Assist in the management of profit margins to ensure monthly KPIs.
- Manage internal communications for updates regarding pickups and deliveries with other departments and terminals.
- Ensure the dispatch process of partner carriers meets customer expectations.
- Proven communication skills that will help foster the development of business relationships with customers and carriers.

The ability to manage your time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
- Adept at thinking creatively and solving complex problems.
- High school diploma or GED.

Employment is contingent upon completion of the SPD employment process (including a background check).
- 1+ years in logistics, dispatch, administration, or a similar role.
- Salary: $25 per hour, decided based on experience.

Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday; On-Call responsibilities.
