Job Title: Dental Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a personable and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of our practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage incoming calls efficiently, directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and coordinate with the dental team
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate
- Handle insurance verification and billing tasks with attention to detail
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall functioning of the dental clinic
Requirements:
- Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with dental office procedures
- Experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical scheduling software such as Epic is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of patient service principles to deliver excellent customer care
