Duties
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve their speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement.

Experience
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in critical care or acute care settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience with the Coaching Model from the Early Intervention program
The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care or acute care settings, with a strong background in patient care and case management. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders is essential.
