Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial cleaning, possess excellent customer service skills, and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and common areas.
- Sweeping, and mopping of the floors
- Maintain the cleanliness of carpets and upholstery
- Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and sanitized
- Restock linens and supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and residents
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
- Follow all safety and health regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with commercial and residential cleaning practices
- Experience with carpet cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment, minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move freely throughout the facility
- Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
Skills:
- Experience with residential and commercial cleaning
- Time management, can work efficiently by yourself or with a team to reach deadlines.
- Knowledge of hotel and hospitality cleaning standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform floor care duties
- Knowledge of custodial and cleaning practices
- Ability to work in a clean and safe environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
