We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our management team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Copra Assistant General Manager closely collaborates with our GM and Wine +
Service Manager to continue the development of our service team and operational
systems. In addition to being hyper focused on nightly service, guest interaction and
staff training, the AGM will participate in staff scheduling, menu updates, and team
building.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a full service, fine dining Floor Management or AGM role is required
- Ability to lead the service team with a positive attitude, effective communication, clear instruction and education of food and beverage and steps of service.
- Prioritize creating a respectful, positive work environment with accountability for self and staff.
- Strong knowledge of wines and spirits, with a particular focus on Natural/Biodynamic offerings.
- Proficiency using reservation software; ability to manage the flow of service through calibration of reservations and walk in guests with kitchen and service capacity.
- Possesses a genuine sense of hospitality, provides exemplary customer service.
- Use critical thinking and maintain an even temperament under pressure.
- Ability to create and train on steps of service and operational systems.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, vibrant atmosphere.
- Knowledge of Southern Indian cuisine and food preparation techniques is a plus but not required.
- A strong understanding of current sanitation practices and health department standards.
- Proficiency using reservation software such as Resy; ability to manage the flow of service through calibration of reservations and walk in guests with kitchen and service capacity.
