Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and Operation Manager
Position Responsibilities
All employees are responsible for behaving in a professional and ethical way while representing the Company, as well as meeting or exceeding all Company policies, practices and procedures; reporting safety events ASAP to the Chief Information Officer; caring and maintaining assigned equipment, tools and PPE devices; participate in required trainings; and for helping minimize environmental impacts by reducing our carbon footprint.
Under direction of the Lead Technicians and Project Managers, Splicing Technicians are responsible and accountable for splicing, testing, troubleshooting, detailed documentation, and emergency restoration of fiber optic cables; ensuring the safety of their personal well-being and of their co-workers’; following all relatable safety regulations (including but not limited to smoking regulations, check-in and check-out procedures, fire evacuation routes, and any other applicable emergency or safety procedures relevant to the jobsite); using proper methods and procedures while in the field; ensuring personal quality control to “get it right the first time”; submitting thorough and accurate project documentation daily; rolling out during emergency or hot cuts when scheduled to be on-call; and other duties as assigned by upper management.

Knowledge & Skills
· Must be 21 years of age,
· Experience in splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables,
· Working knowledge of related safety regulations,
· Knowledge of the Standard Color Code,
· Able to lift 50 pounds,
· Able to work and stand for extended periods,
· Able to pass a background check, driving history check, and drug test,
· Understands and comfortable using Military Time,
· Experience using computer programs (Microsoft Office specifically),
· Experience in Visio, AutoCad, and GN Nettest is desirable,
· Willingness to learn additional software programs,
· Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Position Summary
Work Hours: 0700-1600 Monday thru Friday (nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call)
Location: 90% in field and 10% in office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
