Summary
The Appointment Scheduler is responsible for engaging with prospective students who have shown interest in Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology programs and services to aid them in achieving their educational goals. The ultimate objective is to set a solid appointment between the prospective student and our Admissions Representative. Ensures appropriate action is taken to the student’s satisfaction within the policies of Spartan College.
Essential Functions

Calling prospective students using a list of phone numbers provided to you

Accepting calls from prospective students as they arise

Fielding basic questions and concerns about the programs and services we offer

Scheduling an appointment between the prospective student and an Admissions Representative

Updating the CRM with notes from all attempted outreach activities

Attempting to contact prospective students who you have been unable to contact

Confirmation calls for all admissions and financial aid scheduled appointments

Integrate the Spartan College Values of Innovation, Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence in all aspects of interaction

Completes appointment setter training to develop concrete admissions knowledge

Completes compliance training to develop admissions knowledge

Solid understanding of Admissions CRM and all applicable admissions resources and tools

Utilize various communication channels, including phone calls, texts and emails to engage with potential students and work on setting quality appointments that show
Knowledge / Skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with students and Admissions Representatives

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks
- Be knowledgeable of Spartan College programs and services

Support company growth and budgetary guidelines through constructive interaction and attendance at meetings, events and other related functions.

Uphold the highest standard of ethics and truthfulness when providing information to potential students and or future starts.

Complete all work with the highest standard of ethics and in compliance with state and federal laws.

Maintain high standards of professional appearance (in accordance with the employee handbook).

Familiarity with HR software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools

Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

One (1) year of customer service experience required
