Job Description:
This role will partner with our BraunAbility Global IT team, NAM IT team members and NAM Business partners to define and deliver best in class IT technology and services in support of the BraunAbility North America Manufacturing business unit. In this role you will be have an opportunity to lead a team of dedicated technologists, focused on ensuring the technology that is delivered is supported, maintained and contributing maximum value to the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day technology operations processes, ensuring they are available. You will also have the opportunity to lead continuous improvement efforts in support of optimizing technology in support of production operations.
Essential Functions:
- Working Mgr. 30-40% of time spent hands on providing NAM Ops Support, 60-70% of time managing process and supporting Ops Team.
- Responsible for ensuring all operations tasks are being executed effectively, according to BraunAbility expectations.
- Responsible for meeting all NAM Operational IT KPIs
- Responsible for leading NAM Operations IT Continuous Improvement program.
- Responsible for managing the work Intake Process
- Responsible for facilitating Stakeholder Prioritization Process
- Communication of sprint status, future approved sprint items and backlog queue.
- Responsible for ensuring all needed documentation is created and updated in support of Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT Operation Support.
- Responsible for ensuring all IT Incident tickets are resolved according to KPI.
- Responsible for Procurement (working with business to set workstation standards, ensure equipment is ordered, configured and delivered)
- Workstations, tablets, printers, barcode scanners and other peripherals needed for BU.
- Standard and approved non-standard software needed for BU.
- Cell/Mobile Services.
- Responsible for NAM Software License Management
- Responsible for leading NAM Change Management Process and coordinating with Global Change Management Process.
- Responsible for escalating incidents and requests as appropriate, for resolution within KPI targets.
- Responsible for executing and managing to completion assigned Continuous Improvement and Risk Remediation tasks.
- Accountable for execution of NAM IT Risk Remediation Process.
- Contribute to and maintain system standards.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks; identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.
- Provide Tier II/III other support per request from various sources; investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted departments.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Accountable for outstanding customer service to staff and team members.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective, timely communication and meets deadlines.
- Clearly documents all IT procedures and follows best practice change management for configuration changes to IT systems
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of technologists to deliver technology services and functions.
- Demonstrated competency in developing staff and leadership skills
- Demonstrated competency in project management.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple activities and tasks.
- Facilitation and change management skills.
- Highly developed verbal and written communications.
- Ability to communicate in English; both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access expected
- Efficient use of MHSC help desk application is required
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Network Administration or related field preferred.
- 6 + years of related work experience required.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience equal to 10 years will also be considered.
- 5 years of leadership experience required.
