SALES MANAGER PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Sales Manager’s purpose is to successfully manage all Sales Representatives, along with selling memberships and all other company programs and services in conjunction with the company’s goals as set by the General Manager.
SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a fast-paced environment that caters to the needs of our members and customers. Responsibilities include:
· Overall management and scheduling of Sales Staff
· Meet monthly sales targets as set by the General Manager.
· Generate leads via telephone, email, relationships, and referrals.
· Track and report weekly progress.
· Tour prospective members and sell memberships.
· Assist members with customer service issues.
· Schedule Wellness Assessments, programs, and other events.
· Collect payments, process memberships, analyze, triage, and process cancellations.
· Participate in sales events including open houses, trade shows, and holiday promotions.
· Handle customer service issues in order to meet company retention standards.
· Payroll entry and management
· Manage the customer service sales experience and general public perception of the sales department and the company.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires computer work, the ability to work offsite when required on project-based or corporate related sales tasks, and the flexibility to work nights and weekends depending on the business’ needs. This is a full-time position.
EXPERIENCE:
- (2) year’s of sales experience and experience with CRM preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Management experience preferred.
