Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nutritionist II to join our team. The Nutritionist II will be responsible for providing expert nutritional guidance and support to patients enrolled in our WIC program, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and developing personalized nutrition plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their nutritional needs and health goals
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient assessments
- Provide health coaching to patients on dietary habits, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper nutrition, including food groups, portion sizes, and meal planning
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition or a related setting
- Strong knowledge of physiology and diagnostic evaluation
- Experience with patient assessment, alimentation, and tube feeding is a plus
