Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain and ensure all compliance of safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures.
- Background work experience in Heavy Civil / Water-Wastewater Treatment Plant / Lift Station projects.
- Forecast, plan, and direct the work of assigned crews.
- Confirm that Foremen and craftsmen are trained and knowledgeable of the work procedures.
- Maintain and enforce the quality requirements and standards of the project at hand.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Coordinate with project manager in planning and constructability of the project.
- Monitor the work activities, schedules, and manpower requirements to meet established completion dates with optimized productivity.
- Coordination and procurement of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet project schedules.
- Actively participate in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
Qualifications:
- Review and compile “take-off” quantities, existing cost history, calculations to ensure accuracy.
- Construction Superintendents complete organizational and project management responsibilities to effectively lead the construction team and ensure they have all the resources they need.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.
- Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs and confirm with the project budget.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
- Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Coordinate with project manager changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Ensure daily maintenance of construction equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $87,500.00 per year
