LEAD PRODUCTION COOK / PREP COOK
fundamental Catering is looking to add an amazing LEAD PRODUCTION COOK to our growing catering & events team.
The Prep Cook will work in the production kitchen, directly assisting the Lead Chef and culinary team in all food production. We are looking for another highly motivated, passionate, flexible and trainable team player to join our team!
Job Tasks include but are not limited to:
-Assist the Lead Chef and culinary team with preparing food to standard - MUST be quick and efficient and pay attention to detail.
-Must have a good palate, taste your food, and have knowledge of different types of cuisines and food items.
-Ability to follow recipes exactly how they are written.
-Extensive knowledge in various culinary techniques, supreme knife skills, experience in cooking proteins to various temperatires, familiarity of kitchen terms.
-Must be extremely clean and organized.
-High level of communication, both written and verbal.
Requirements:
-A minimum of 3+ years experience in the food / beverage / hospitality / catering industry - MUST HAVE high volume food production experience.
-Highly organized with great attention to details.
-Professional appearance and demeanor.
-Access to reliable car or transportation
**We are offering both part-time and full time positions and shifts vary week to week. We do not have set schedules available.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

- Night shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
