Ethos is looking to hire a strength coach to join our team. This role will include coaching personal training, small group (1:6) training, plus up to 4 hours per week of staff and coach development meetings.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a driven and experienced coach with a collaborative mindset and sees their role as more than someone who counts reps.
- Has a collaborative mindset to work with other coaches and management to develop business opportunities.
- Has a growth mindset and willingness to learn and develop their skills.
- Has strong organizational skills for administrative tasks such as billing, emailing, and client communications.
- Has experience and desire to coach 1:1, and small group environments.
- REQUIRED- Ability to coach barbell and kettlebell specific exercises to the Ethos standard
- Preference for kettlebell certifications including SFG, RKC, DV8, KBCU.
Coach Responsibilities:
- Full Time Role- 25-30 hours per week including coaching and meetings
- Part Time Role- 10-15 hours per week including coaching and meetings
- Coaching hours tend to be 6AM-10AM and 3PM-8PM with possible midday opportunities.
- Must be available to coach some Saturdays
- Conduct personal training sessions - 60 minute sessions
- Conduct semi-private (6:1) training sessions - 60 minute sessions
- Develop and execute an individual training program designed in a safe and effective way following the Ethos operating procedures and systems.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and coach development sessions.
Skills and education:
- Hold current, nationally recognized personal training certification, or have a College degree in either sports science or a similar field.
- Have knowledge of Kettlebell training modalities.
- Have experience coaching barbell and strength specific exercises.
- Have 1-2 years of personal training experience.
- Have 1-2 Years experience coaching small group/class environments.
- Hold current first aid/CPR/AED training certification.
