Our high-end boutique practice is looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager.
Must have experience as a dental office manager, be computer savvy, and a quick learner,.
Our perfect candidate is detail oriented, good with money and numbers as well as with patients and customer service.
This is a smaller medium paced office (2-3 dentists, 4 operatories) so in this role you will also cover front desk duties, answering phones, TC, reconcile the day etc.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and handling phone calls and emails.
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to Clinicians, including maintaining patient records, and coordinating referrals.
- Collaborate with the prosthodontists to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with Dental and administrative policies and procedures.
- Assist with practice management tasks, such as coordinating staff schedules and supervising inventory orders.
- Utilize DENTRIX Dental record systems to input and retrieve patient information.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in Dental management practices.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Dental administrative support functions and procedures.
- Proficiency in practice management software and electronic health record systems (DENTRIX is a PLUS.).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Experience:
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role
- - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and billing practices
- - Familiarity with electronic health record systems (such as Dentrix) and utilization management processes
- - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- - Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
