Our organization is seeking a Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Intervention Specialist will provide interventions to children ages 0–3 who have been identified as at-risk or experiencing developmental delays. This opportunity is perfect for the individual with experience in the areas of assessment, intervention and special education in a home environment. Our team is committed to providing high quality patient care and we are looking for someone who loves working with children and possesses a comfort level in sensitive situations.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the most effective way of communicating with children.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of various programs and interventions.
- Review medical research for application within an intervention specialist's field.
- Facilitate intervention sessions and identify potential challenges that might arise in a particular situation.
- Review and edit treatment plans, and other materials to ensure that they are accurate.
- Meet with families to review treatment plans and to help them prepare for future sessions.
- Develop strategies that connect all activities with the goal of improving client outcomes.
- Meet with patients in their homes.
- Write progress reports
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
