Learning & Development Coordinator – Mexico, MO
This is a full-time, exempt level position.
Position Summary:
This role serves as the Training Coordinator for the Mexico Site and is responsible for coordinating & scheduling training activities for the Plant. The Training Coordinator will prepare, develop, manage and coordinate training. The Training Coordinator will be a member of the Global Technical Training Center of Excellence (CoE).
Job Functions:-
Utilize established CCD 2.0 Tools, resources, templates to conduct Focused Training Initiatives and World Class Training Initiatives

Coordinate with plant leadership to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities tied to plant losses and define Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and training measures of success.

Responsible for management support to facilitate safe reliable efficient plant operations as directed by the Plant Manager.

Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions as required.

Coach and lead plant colleagues through the CCD process utilizing the PE Model; Assessment, Planning, Modeling, Replication, and Sustainment

Provide coaching, escalation and accountability for CCD success through Review & Response meeting with plant leadership.

Ensure progress is reported, and support escalated to stakeholders and sponsors on a monthly basis

Mentor and develop unit/department employees to establish an inspiring & high performance culture.

Support safe, reliable performance of duties by ensuring that units/departments follow Site, Corporate, Quality and regulatory standards related to operating procedures and MOCs (Management of Change).

Responsible for the Site’s new hire training and mentoring program.

Establish relationships and collaborate with Trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), procedure reviewers, training reviewers, engineers, managers/supervisors, and EHS staff to support the site’s training activities.

Maintain, update and audit all training documents and procedures as required by changes, MOCs, and periodic reviews.

Enhance skills to include adult learning methodologies and deliver one on one coaching and instruction, in the field training, casual small group training, and formal stand up instruction.

Other management support functions as determined by Plant Manager to assist in maintaining safe, reliable , and efficient plant operations.
Job Qualifications:-
3 years experience supporting manufacturing operations

1 year experience leading Continuous Colleague Development (CCD) and/or Training activities

1 year experience in a Continuous Improvement
Education/Training:-
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Experience:-
Utilizing Microsoft Applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. Alchemy and/or CourseMill LMS experience is a plus.

Scheduling & coordinating training
-
Presentation skills suitable to all types of training (one-on-one coaching, in-the-field training, casual small group training, and formal stand-up instruction). A self-driven work ethic that is a positive role model for trainees.

The ability to lead and motivate others.

Ability to identify issues and problem solve.
