Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk Under direction of the City Administrator this position provides a variety of administrative functions in support of the Administration Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares Budget Reports for Council Meetings
- Become Fluent in G-Works software
- Maintaining open communication with department heads and City Administrator concerning department expenses
- Invoicing
- Maintain organized records of bills paid and invoices
- Preparing end of year 1099 tax forms
- Printing and preparing checks in a timely manner for mailings
- Assists with board packets, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes
- Responds to FOIA requests
- Assists with licensing and permits
- Maintains and provides records and assistance to the public and other city departments
- Water collector, prepares deposits, work orders
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to complete Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act Officer certification training within 30 days of hire.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
College Degree or Experience
Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
