Education:
No specific education required.
Experience:
3 years experience in structural weld environment (not piping).
Skills:
The ability to pass a weld test.
In addition to the above requirements knowledge in the below areas:
- Welding procedures and techniques.
- Structural blueprint reading
- Tack welding and fitting
- Non-destructive techniques for inspection.
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to maintain tolerances required on the blueprints
- Must be organized and have the ability to successfully
- Work with people in all areas of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain weld production on projects.
Communicate with Foreman on technical issues.
Practice good time management on projects.
Communicate with quality on technical issues.
Operate within established quality management system.
Ensure that documentation and records are completed properly.
