About the Role:
In a safe manner, operate thermoforming machines to schedule while making quality parts. Assist in the setup of various molds in thermoforming machines. Ensure that all machinery is running efficiently, producing quality product, and complete minor mechanical work, making machine adjustments and keeping the equipment and production area clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety first attitude and ability to work safely in compliance with our 3 tenets of safety
- Assist production supervision in attaining production goals as established by management.
- Operate thermoforming machines at or above standard levels of operation including quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. This includes packing finished product into boxes.
- Identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to new production staff and assist with training and development.
- Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
- Use cleaning solutions, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly clean equipment and production area with sustainment of the 5S process.
- Complete appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.
- Inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects.
- Able to use JDE to evaluate the production schedule.
- Must be mechanically inclined and can safely operate a forklift if needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate will be energetic, insightful, collaborative, self-motivated, and positive with interest in Supply Chain. Other highly valued skills include:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to sit and stand for long periods. Must be able to lift and move items or boxes up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be extended to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
