This position will support systems engineering and architectural designs of the company’s programs in space and ground avionics. In this role, you will be developing designs, procedures, techniques and solutions to resolve advanced technical engineering problems. You will be responsible for system problem resolution support, data trending and performance analysis. In addition, you will apply systems engineering processes and skills to systematically convert customer needs into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform engineering design analysis to establish validity of designs.

Providing internal and external customers with responsive, concise and accurate status or service updates, issues and risks.

Provide recommendations and forward thinking for effective and intelligent system/subsystem design.

Leads system requirements definition, flow down and traceability.

Participate in architecture definition and complex system problem solving in support of advanced software defined multifunction mission systems.

Interact in a technical team environment with software, network and systems engineers.

Develop detailed design requirements suitable for efficient hardware/software/firmware implementation and network deployment.

Work with cross-functional teams as well as other system engineers to achieve intelligent designs which meet customer requirements.

Provide assistance with large scale system and architecture implementation and operational support.

Troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex problems that the program may encounter.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace Systems or related field required.

5 or more years of systems engineering experience.

Cross functional knowledge in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, firmware and software disciplines.

Experience with spacecraft design, development integration and test.

Must have demonstrated rigorous troubleshooting skills on a large-scale information system.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Salary Range
$125,000.00 - $140,000.00
However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. In addition, Innoflight provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
