Local private practice pediatric group is looking for an Office Receptionist. This person must be well organized, work efficiently, and enjoy the interactions with patients and their families.
· Welcomes patients and parents, in person or on the phone.
· Keeps patient appointments on schedule.
· Anticipates patient and family anxieties, answering all of their questions.
· Responsible for the “checking-in” and “checking-out” of patients.
· Maintains patient accounts by obtaining and updating personal and financial information.
· Other assignments including answering the phone and faxes, making appointments, and collecting patient charges.
· Protects patients' confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Medical Office Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:
