Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent customer service by monitoring staff interactions with customers.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Address any issues related to food quality or cleanliness promptly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members.
- Relay information between shifts and to upper management as needed.
- Assist the manager in coordinating and supervising banquet events, bartending services, and catering operations
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
- Train and mentor staff members to maintain high standards of quality and service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as an assistant manager or shift supervisor in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food production processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
