Job Description:
Are you a numbers whiz with a knack for organization and an interest in powersports? We're seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team and help keep our financial engine running smoothly while managing the administrative operations of our office.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of financial record-keeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Coordinate with our controller and external accounting professionals to support the preparation of our financial statements and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee office operations, including maintaining office supplies, managing correspondence, and handling administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate with our HR manager to complete basic HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with our Sales, Parts and Service managers to support the completion of daily management tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role, preferably within the powersports or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in data entry accounting software and a willingness to adapt to our industry specific dealer management system (Lightspeed)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
