Restaurant Line Cook
The Stagecoach Tavern at Race Brook Lodge is seeking an experienced Cook for preparation and execution of restaurant service. The tavern is open for dinner4 nights per week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
We also prepare breakfast each day for hotel guests and other meals throughout the week for groups on-site.
An Ideal applicant would bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm, a strong foundational understanding in the culinary arts, solid knife skills and restaurant line skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and handle multiple orders at a time.

Responsibilities
● Work seamlessly as part of a team with other kitchen staff, front of house, and hotel staff
● Prep ingredients according to menu items and plan
● Set up kitchen mise en place for service and clean work stations thoroughly at the end of each shift
● Execute restaurant service, preparing menu items according to guest orders
● Prepare all dishes according to the correct recipe, at the highest level of quality and presentation
● Clean at the end of each service and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
● Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations.
Requirements
● At least 2 years experience working in a restaurant kitchen
● A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
● Ability to handle pressure calmly and professionally.
● Completion of Servsafe or other comparable food and safety training and certificate program

Range in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts.The Stagecoach Tavern is an historic establishment with enchanting indoor dining spaces and multiple outdoor seating areas. The menu features seasonally-inspired items with ingredients sourced locally as much as possible, including many items grown right here on the property.
