Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager with expertise in various areas such as food processing, forklift operation, commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, fabrication, food production, farming, mechanical knowledge, and tanker handling.
Duties:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities including buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Manage facility budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and upgrades
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Supervise facility staff and provide training as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities management within a similar industry
- Knowledge of food processing facilities and related equipment
- Proficiency in forklift operation, commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, fabrication, and tanker handling
- Familiarity with food production processes and farming operations
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
