About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Director Assistant to support a
dynamic entrepreneur who operates in the construction, floral, and landscaping
industries. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with excellent multitasking
abilities and a strong sense of discretion. This role requires exceptional communication
skills, both written and verbal, the ability to manage, schedule, and prioritize meetings
and projects, and will handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Management: Handle incoming and outgoing communications,
including emails, phone calls, and correspondence. Ensure timely and accurate
responses.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing
agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of various projects within
the construction, floral, and landscaping sectors.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and
proposals.
- Vendor and Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for vendors and clients,
managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating events, such as client meetings,
company gatherings, and industry conferences.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff,
or in a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related
field preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other
relevant software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
