Overview:
The administrative office of Hope Montessori and Andrews Academy is seeking a detail-oriented office coordinator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will provide support in a small office setting to our established Montessori preschools and Andrews elementaries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the accounts receivable and accounts payable process
- Manage capital expenditure records and track depreciation
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Maintain office supplies
- Coordinate school field trip calendar and bus requests
- Responsible for sales and use tax administration
- Form 1099 compliance and reporting
- Provide support to other team members and take on special projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in administrative, accounting or finance role
- Excellent communication and organization skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Sage 300 and ProCare a plus
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Certified Notary Public or the ability to earn certification
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Dependable, responsible team player
- Comfortable working with confidential information and record-keeping

- 8 hour shift
