Job Summary:
Menominee Industrial Supply located in Menominee, Michigan, and a multi-state distributor in the Outdoor Power Equipment, Timber Harvesting and Industrial Supply Industries is seeking a results-driven Territory Manager located near the Wausau, Wisconsin area to oversee a territory that will include the state of Wisconsin to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving revenue targets.
Duties:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and expand customer base within the assigned territory.
- Manage key accounts and cultivate new business opportunities through effective account management practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients to showcase the benefits of our offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment with company objectives and provide feedback on market trends.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to stay ahead in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory management roles.
- The ability to prioritize individual workflow and manage multiple accounts simultaneously while cultivating new customer opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and to do overnight traveling ranging from 1-3 days per week.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, and competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Required to lift 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license
