Our busy HVAC and appliance service and installation company is seeking a skilled dispatcher scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the industry and be able to handle all incoming and outgoing calls with exceptional customer service. As a dispatcher scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for service and installation, dispatching technicians, and handling customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments for service and installation and dispatch technicians to job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and schedules.
- Handle customer complaints and diffuse upset customers by providing exceptional customer service and finding solutions to their problems.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure that they have all necessary information to complete jobs.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that all customer needs are met.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatch or customer service role.
- Working knowledge of the HVAC and appliance industry.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and diffuse upset customers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
