Salary Range: $175,000 - $210,000 Per Year

In this multifaceted role, you will oversee the overall nursing operations of the Perioperative Surgical unit, strategically developing short and long-term goals with particular attention to safe, efficient, effective, and compassionate patient-centered care.
Collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer, you will:
· Plan, implement and evaluate systems for the delivery of care following ANAs/AHA’s nursing principles
· Manage all clinical nurses, including hiring, orientation, scheduling, training/mentoring, performance/competency reviews, and retention
· Develop, establish, and maintain policies and procedures to meet department’s and Hospital goals and objective, and regulatory requirements
· Participate in QI and PI activities to ensure an efficient and safe working environment
Ideally, this candidate will have a positive “hands-on” leadership style along with:
· Master’s Degree in Nursing and graduated from an accredited nursing program
· Current NYS RN license and BCLS certification
· Minimum of 5 years’ progressive leadership experience in a similar role
· Knowledge of related accreditation, licensing, and certification requirements
· In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry
· Exemplary leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
· Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
