Position Description
The Provisioning Technician plays a pivotal role within the Carrier Services group, serving as the primary interface between Edge and its customers and partners. This position is responsible for efficiently processing sales orders and managing projects to deliver SIP Trunk, eFAX, Microsoft Teams voice, and Hosted PBX services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Review service agreements to ensure all necessary information is provided for order processing, collaborating with partners and customers to obtain missing data as needed.
- Initiate and oversee the telephone number porting process, becoming a subject matter expert in this domain.
- Provision ordered services based on customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate resources within the team for the provisioning of core voice equipment.
- Schedule service activations in collaboration with internal team members, customers, and partners.
- Maintain a comprehensive configuration database of customer agreements, services, and resources.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing based on completed projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
- Proficiency in Office 365 is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly desirable.
- Desire and ability to learn new technology and its requirements that are constantly changing.
- Self-motivated and energetic.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
