PRINCIPAL CBERSECURITY ENGINEER (Network Cybersecurity Protections)
The role of Principal Cybersecurity Engineer is to implement & manage Network security solutions to protect Fidelity Network, Systems & Data. This role is within the Enterprise Cybersecurity’s External Defense Product Area and offers significant exposure to Enterprise Network & Systems Architecture (both on-prem & cloud), opportunities to evaluate, implement & manage best-in-class Application & web security tools and technologies. The role provides great exposure towards developing deep expertise into engineering and managing industry-leading Cybersecurity practices.
The Expertise You Have
-
10+ years of experience in a distributed IT Engineering function
-
Must have at least 3 years designing, implementing, & supporting Cybersecurity protections such as:

Cloud proxy (e.g. Zscaler)
-
Email Security (e.g. FireEye ETP, Microsoft EOP, DMARC)
-
Malware prevention (e.g Fireeye ATP)
-
Layer 3 DDoS protection (e.g. Prolexic, AWS Shield/Advanced Shield)
-
Expertise in designing and implementing observability, resiliency for security solutions is required.

Working knowledge of Automation, scripting languages, including integration with CSP APIs is desired.

A cyber security and/or cloud certification such as CISSP, AWS is an added advantage.
The Skills You Bring

Deep understanding of OSI layer, TCP/IP, DNS networks (protocols, ports, etc.,) is required.

Understanding of cloud solutions and cloud networking (AWS / Azure) is highly desired.

Experience with engineering observability solutions with tools like Data Dog, Splunk etc. is highly desired.

Knowledge of engineering documentation of complex technologies and topologies based on security-based practices is highly desired.

Experience with Agile methodology is desired.

Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
