Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) for our Easley Branch. The successful candidate will have a knack for creating relationships, a solid understanding of the mortgage industry, and a commitment to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to determine their financing needs and guide them through the loan process.
- Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
- Research and maintain a thorough understanding of all lending programs and products, policies & procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with our internal and external business partners, including our real estate network.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism with clients at all times.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the mortgage industry.
- Collaborate with team members to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.
- Strong knowledge of loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Superior customer service skills, including excellent communication abilities and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Proficient in major software systems (MS Office, Loan Origination Systems, etc.)
- Proven track record in sales or client service.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
