Job Title: Transporter/CDL Truck Driver
This transporter will transport heavy equipment vehicles from state to state. The heavy equipment vehicles will be construction vehicles like utility trucks, dump trucks, diggers, concrete pumps, boom trucks, etc. The candidate will fly to a city, pick up the vehicle and drive it to another city, then be flown to another city to pick up another vehicle and transport that vehicle to a city.
Transporter has a great deal of flexibility in their work schedule. They can work when they are available to work. This is a 100% OTR position but not required to stay out for 2-3 weeks at a time like most OTR truck drivers are required to do.
An ideal candidate will need to have a Class A CDL, preferable with manual certification license to qualify for transporting the heavy equipment but a candidate with a Class B license could qualify also for transport assignments for smaller vehicles that do not require the Class A.
Position pays by the mile. The more you drive the more you make This is a 1099 independent contractor position not a W-2. Travel expenses such as airfare, taxi, hotel, fuel, etc. are covered by the employer.
** Driver can be geographically located anywhere within the US near a major airport.
