Job Description
Are you a skilled full-stack engineer with specific experience in C# .Net Core applications seeking an exciting remote opportunity? Entrical wants YOU to join our team! As a leading provider of patented software solutions utilized by state public safety entities, we're embarking on a new phase of growth and innovation.
Since its inception in 2015, our product has seen remarkable success, but now, we're ready to take it to the next level. After several years of third-party management, we're bringing operations and development back in-house. This strategic move is geared towards expanding into new states and implementing exciting new features.
If you're passionate about making a real impact in the realm of public safety technology and thrive in a remote work environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills and contribute to our ambitious goals. Join Entrical and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing software solutions for law enforcement agencies nationwide.
What we’re looking for
Are you someone who thrives on challenges and self-driven innovation? If so, you're exactly who we're looking for! At Entrical, we value self-starters who embrace learning opportunities beyond their current skill set.
We need individuals who are passionate about delivering cutting-edge, functional software that directly impacts law enforcement operations. As part of our team, you'll have the chance to make a real difference in public safety.
Please note that due to the nature of our work, background investigations are required by each state for accessing sensitive data. While specific requirements vary by state, successful completion of these checks is essential for employment. Rest assured, we prioritize confidentiality and professionalism throughout this process.
What you’ll be doing
Are you ready to take charge of a pivotal role in reshaping our development process? Join us as we bring our operations in-house, where you'll be coding API integrations with other law enforcement vendor software and data parsers for various State DMV datasets and the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) system.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to collaborate effectively with our current development and management team, quickly grasp our software infrastructure, and propose and implement enhancements to our DevOps pipeline. As part of a tight-knit team, your contributions will be integral to realizing the vision set forth by our COO.
Our immediate priority is consolidating our development efforts, opening our internal API to external customers for licensing purposes, and extending our software to new states. You'll be responsible for documenting your technical work, ensuring that future team members can leverage your expertise. As we expand into new states, our team will grow accordingly.
Exciting opportunities lie ahead as we look to integrate AI workflows into our patented technology, leveraging proprietary datasets. Join us on this journey of innovation and growth, where your skills will be central to our success.
Required Skills and Experience
We're looking for candidates with:
· 2-5 years of AWS experience, including EC2, S3, Route53, ELB, and more.
· 2-5 years of programming experience in:
o C# .Net Core, with knowledge of ServiceStack.
o React.

o TeamCity
· Familiarity with tools like Codacy, LaunchDarkly, Slack, and Atlassian BitBucket, Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
· Experience collaborating with teams and/or external vendors.
· Proven experience creating and editing technical documentation
Bonus points will be awarded for sharing examples of projects or products you've worked on and explaining your personal contribution to those.
Benefits
· Competitive Salary (Range - $85,000 - $110,000 DOE and skill alignment)
· 100% Remote Position – we’re not going to try to dupe you into a hybrid schedule
· Flexible hours – our only ask is that you make yourself available at least 2 hours every weekday afternoon (EST) to communicate with the COO
· No meetings! Well, almost. We hate formal meetings, so we’ll do our best to keep you out of them unless it’s actually necessary. You may be required to attend various technical meetings with other customers or vendors to support sales and development of our software.
