JOB TITLE: Core Technology Principal Engineer

DUTIES: Lead business requirements gathering, design, and development of ServiceNow solutions for Nuvolo (CMMS), Legal and GRC, in partnership with the Facilities team and Information Assurance team, respectively. Understand business partners’ needs and vision to deliver ServiceNow solutions to support and enable their goals and objectives. Lead business requirements/user stories discussions (or partner with analysts), perform gap analyses, recommend solution designs, configure existing and/or new ServiceNow modules, develop custom applications, and build integrations. Advise business partners on all key technical decisions during project delivery. Ensure collaboration and hand-off to support team post-delivery while remaining a subject matter expert and escalation point. Collaborate with the on- and off-shore managed services team on projects, enhancements, and maintenance activities. Support current and new ServiceNow features/releases and module functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption. Work with Internal Controls, Audit support teams, Quality and Testing/Validation teams, as needed, to meet SOX/GxP regulatory/validation and change management requirements. Coordinate with the Testing/Validation team and Quality to perform GxP activities including, but not limited to maintaining configuration workbooks, functional requirements documents, data validation scripts and traceability for out of the box functionality. Research and apply available ServiceNow hotfixes, patches and upgrades while ensuring configurations and customizations function as expected. Work with business partners to plan timing, testing and communication of these activities. Perform day to day support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform. Support the ServiceNow footprint including Nuvolo (Facilities and Lab Asset Management), Legal(Stock Pre Clearance), GRC (Audit Management, Policy and Compliance, Risk Management), ITSM (Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Knowledge, etc.), ITAM (Hardware and Software Asset Management), HRSD (Portal, Case and Knowledge Management, Onboarding & Transitions), ITBM (Project Portfolio Management, Demand, and Enhancements), Custom Apps, Performance Analytics, Integration Hub, and integrations.

REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
- Implementing supporting ServiceNow core modules.
- Configurations such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Access Controls, Notifications, Flow Designers and Workflows.
- Nuvolo Enterprise Asset Management, GRC, or custom apps.
- Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Request, and Asset Management.
- Web-based development technologies, specifically – JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, Angular, and CSS.
- Working on Web Services integrations such as REST, JSON and SOAP.
- Working in a SAAS Environment.
- LDAP or SSO Implementation.
- Implementation with Service Portal.
- Project Management, Agile and SDLC Methodologies.
- Building custom applications.
- GxP and SDLC Validation process.
