Cabinetworks Group has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Representative for our beautiful Waconia, MN office!

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures timely and accurate processing of invoices. Reconciles vendor statements, checks vendor balances, and follows up on discrepancies.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process three-way match PO invoices, two-way match PO invoices, and non-PO invoices.

Liaise with internal customers to resolve and process invoices and any discrepancies
Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding invoices, credit memos, payment status, and other financial transactions as needed
Review and submit monthly accruals for unprocessed invoices
Review statements monthly

Work Received Not Vouchered (RNV) report monthly

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

High School diploma or GED
Prior ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards)
Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers
Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines
Demonstrated successful ability to input data with a high accuracy rating, and strong attention to detail
Demonstrated successful ability to work in a team setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Associate’s degree in business, finance or related field
Previous manufacturing environment experience

2 years previous Accounts Payable experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for Extended Periods: The nature of the job involves sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods while performing administrative tasks, using a computer, and engaging in various in-office activities.
Computer Use: Proficient use of a computer, including typing, mouse manipulation, and viewing a computer screen for extended periods is essential.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to use office equipment such as phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and printers. This may require fine motor skills and dexterity.
Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, documents, and other materials, typically not exceeding a certain weight limit (e.g., 20 pounds).
Mobility: Ability to move within the office environment to access filing cabinets, printers, and other office equipment.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders directly in person or via electronic communication.
Visual Acuity: Ability to read printed and electronic documents, as well as distinguish colors, for tasks such as proofreading and reviewing documents.
Multitasking: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively, which may require mental agility and adaptability.
